Practical Details
Location The conference is taking place at: Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton SO14 1NF. Central Hall is in the centre of Southampton close to a range of hotels, places to eat, shop and relax.
Accommodation
There is a range of hotels and B&Bs in the city. Go the conference page on the Pioneer website www.pioneer.org.uk for a link to www.visit-southampton.co.uk/site/where-to-stay which provides a helpful source of information.
Children and Childcare
We cannot accommodate children during the conference as there will be no manned childcare in the building. However, children will be welcome to attend the conference but parents will have to be responsible for their care. Please can you call to let us now if you intend bringing your children with you.
Disabilities Central Hall is fully accessible by wheelchair and has a hearing loop is installed in parts of the building. If you have any special requirements such as sign language interpretation, large print notes, etc, please contact the office by 14th February and we will endeavour to make suitable arrangements.
Catering
Lunch will be provide for all delegates on Friday only. On Saturday, lunch bags containing freshly made sandwiches, a drink, crisps, piece of fruit and a cake can be pre-ordered for £4.
Tea and coffee will be available during the breaks on all days. The coffee shop will be
open at times during the conference with a wider range of hot and cold drinks
available to purchase. There are also a variety of cafes and restaurants within a 10
minute walk of Central Hall, information will be available at the conference.
